ENTRElaçados, the name of the exhibition means 'intertwined, or 'entangled'. Entangled... with these two worlds: the inner and the outer, the west and the east. Love and tears, distance and closeness, secrets and plain words, gueixas and samurais, holy and infame, here and there. You and me.

The figures are inpired by the style of the traditional japanese art of Ukyio-e.

I had the generous support from the Brazilian artist Lou Borghetti, who gave me the space at her wonderful atelier and organized the exhibition at the Saiko Restaurant in Porto Alegre, South Brazil.
